REY ORTEGA AWARDED VEGETARIAN VISION AWARD AT ANIMAL ACRES GRAND OPENING     Acton, Calif. — October 22, 2005, Rey Ortega was awarded the Vegetarian Vision Award at the grand opening of Animal Acres, a farmed animal sanctuary.   Actress Leslie Bega (Sopranos) presented Ortega with the award during the evening Country Gala. Actresses Daryl Hannah, Persia White and Charlotte Ross also presented awards to other friends of Animal Acres.   "I feel so lucky just to be here," said Ortega. "If loving cookies is wrong, I don't want to be right. I am so happy that I love to do something that can help the animals. Buy cookies!"   Guests enjoyed cookies donated by Sun Flour Baking Company, as well as treats from local restaurants Native Foods, Real Food Daily and Veggie Era.
